Alexa - Tapered Leg Trousers - Organic Cotton in Black & White Minnow Print

I am a major fan of Alexas, and for a long time, they were the only trousers I wore, and still make up the bulk of my outfits (when I'm not wearing Obregons!).

I really love this print, and while I like the Ragan version very much, I find Alexas easier to easier to wear, and less of a 'statement' than Alexas. I ordered these and was excited about them arriving - and I was not disappointed when I saw the print IRL - it is vibrant and gorgeous, maybe even nicer in person than on screen!

Annoyingly, I picked these up just days before they went on sale (and not very long after they were released as far as I can tell) but I used a community discount and points, so I'm happy enough with what I paid.

The construction feels nice and solid, and they look good on.

Alexas seem to fluctuate in size, and I have pairs that are labelled as an XS but fit like an S, and then S which are a bit smaller than ideal, but in this pattern, I would go for your usual Alexa size.

My size also fluctuates lot, and while I am sometimes an 8, often an 8-10, I would say I am on the largest side of a 10 atm, and I bought the S, which fit as they are supposed to. The waist is comfortable, and the legs are sized as they should be to create the desired silhouette.

Just as a side note, the thighs look very baggy on the product image, but looks much more proportional and not as baggy IRL. I was worried they may be cut a bit weirdly, or be too big on the thighs, but they are a much nicer silhouette in person than…
